“TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO, AND WHEN HE IS OLD, HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT.”

At the very outset, let us thank Lord Almighty for the freedom and opportunities that we enjoy in this land to stand united as a worshipping community.

A much longing dream of the members and well-wishers of the CSI Congregation, Ahmadi has become true at the dawn of September 6th 2002. With the grace of the Almighty God, prayerful support of the vicar, each and every members of the congregation, this has become possible.

For quite a long, our children were attending the Sunday School under the banner of Malayalee Christian Congregation (MCC) and it was a long cherished dream to start a Sunday School of St. Paul’s CSI Congregation, Ahmadi.

At present, we have about 25 children of age group from 4 to 16 and 5 teachers and are divided into 5 classes – Beginner, Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior. We have a talented team to lead the singing session and a really committed team to teach the word of God. Classes are being conducted on all Fridays from 10-11 AM, except 4th Friday from 10.30-11.15 AM. We are following the English syllabus being prepared and published by the CSI Publications, Madras.

The main aim of the Sunday School is to bring each and every child to Jesus and this is only possible through the Bible application in our day to day life. Since the childhood is the right time to train them up in such a way to live a victorious Christian life, Church is giving high importance for the Sunday School ministry.

The world we live in is full of chaos, calamities and discontents. Evil association seems more influential ever since.  Darkness over powers the daylight!!  Here comes the relevance of bringing up the coming generation for the kingdom of God.  A true Christian must be able to evaluate the values of the blood of Lamb that shed at Calvary for the salvation of the mankind.

Remember this infant Sunday school in your prayers!!  Let’s fulfill the will of God on earth through generation to generations.
